Pistol 102 is for shooters who already understand basic safety and marksmanship (Pistol 101 or equivalent) and want to take their shooting to the next level. This class focuses on speed, accuracy, and safe gun handling under pressure.

Safety Review & Gear Optimization
- Quick refresher on the 4 Universal Safety Rules
- Range commands and hot-range expectations
- Gear discussion: holsters, belts, sights, lights
- Safe work from the holster
Accuracy & Speed Development
- Grip, stance, and sight picture refinement
- Controlled pairs and cadence drills
- Accuracy challenges (Dot Torture or similar)
- Drawing from low ready vs. holster
Reloads & Malfunctions
- Emergency vs. tactical reloads
- Immediate action (tap-rack-bang)
- Stovepipe and double-feed clearing
- Maintaining muzzle discipline during manipulations
Movement & Realistic Engagement
- Shooting from different positions
- Lateral movement and controlled movement drills
- Multiple target transitions
- Strong-hand / support-hand only drills (intro level)
Scenario & Performance Drills
- Short, structured drills to apply skills under stress
- Timed standards to measure progress
- Instructor feedback and next-step guidance
Gear Requirements
- Strong-side OWB or IWB holster covering trigger guard
- Minimum 2 magazines (magazine pouch recommended)
- ~150–200 rounds of ammunition
- Sturdy belt, closed-toe shoes Eye & ear protection Defensive pistol (9mm or larger recommended)
